Going from an open invitation by Tricia Mingerink we are hosting our ten favorite screen characters...which means we get to squeal alot!
1. Killua Zoldyck from Hunter x Hunter
This precious little child is an assassin, devoted friend, amazing big brother and desperately needs hugs!!!
Hugs, HUGS I TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Rapunzel from Tangled
One of the most energetic and (personally) relatable princesses Disney has ever come up with. Her whole story and bubbly personality sucked us in!!!
3. Merry and Pippin from Lord of the Rings
These two were definitely THE comic relief in the entire serious...and some of the most adorable characters. Which is why they tie. (Honorable mention: Legolas! Because he is actually Ant's favorite LotR's character.)
4. Garry from Ib
Yes it's from an indie RPG game but Garry was an amazing character and we absolutely love him! He was an amazing big brother character and was willing to give his life for nine year old Ib. At times he was a bit of a coward but that just made him more real!
5.Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians
A teenage boy who suffers from extreme loneliness and just wants to play with children. That. was. so. sad.
6. Naru from Barakamon
She's spunky, she's cute, she's adventurous, she's the village scamp. What's not to love about this kid?!
7. Sherlock and Watson from BBC's Sherlock
Ant's is one of those really annoying Sherlock Holmes fans who is SUPER picky about who plays Sherlock and Watson and only approves of (honorable mention) Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. So this was a wonderful surprise even if she nit-picks on occasion.
8. Isaac and Miria from Baccano!
These two in a random show were THE most random random characters and they also tie (Already being practically inseparable already). They run around accidentally spreading mayhem, immortality, and over-all good feelings.
9. Wadanohara cast from the game Wadanohara: and the Great Blue Sea
Another Indie RPG with an amazing cast we couldn't choose from (hence the SERIOUS cheating.)
From air-headed Wadanohara (girl in blue dress), to stoic Fukami (tall guy in the white coat), mischievous Memoca (yellow/white haired girl), quiet Dolphi (little girl with black hair), and (pardon the Japanese, I don't have a better term) tsundere Samekichi (guy with his back turned). This game had us caring from beginning to end.
10. Gon Freecs from Hunter x Hunter
He's a stubborn darling sunshine child who won't take no for an answer and loves his friends and (most) of his family dearly.
(Best friends forever!)
Yep, we have TONS of characters that we love dearly that did not make it onto this list. We also cheated rather badly...hehehe...well, I hope you enjoyed!
P.S. I realize most of these are cartoon/anime characters. As we have learned if left to ourselves we prefer animation rather than real live. Is this childish? Probably. Do we care? Not really.
(Also these are in no definite order While Killua undoubtedly ranks 1st, Gon comes in a close 2nd and the rest all fall in somewhere after that!)
We're supposed to tag other bloggers at the end here, but I think it's more fun to leave this as an open invitation. So what about you? Who are your favorites? Feel free to leave a link to your post in the comments (but don't feel obliged to)!

Movie Review: Eleanor's Secret
Summary: Natanaƫl, seven, still doesn't know how to read. His eccentric old aunt bequeaths her house to his parents and her book collection to the young boy. Nat discovers that the books serve as a shelter for all the heroes found in children's literature. They are the original characters and are counting on him for protection. For if they leave the library, they will disappear along with their stories forever! When his parents start selling off the books, Nathanaƫl, who is shrunk by the evil witch Carabosse, braves everything to save his tiny friends. - Written by Films Distribution
Thoughts: This is another adorable French film that has officially been dubbed and released and is very easy to find. Filled with some of childhood's most magical characters such as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Cinderella, and more, this is a film about the joys of reading and the adventures awaiting! A great family film for all ages!
Content: Some magic, a kiss on a cheek, and comedic use of a somewhat friendly Ogre/Giant trying to eat several characters. Overall a clean film.
